I first met Christian and Yudit at our Tampa Wedding Fest bridal expo last January. They were so sweet and totally in love. He proposed to her on a family vacation to Cuba, and of course she accepted. They initially were planning to do a destination wedding sometime later this year. We scheduled their engagement photos for May, on Honeymoon Island. I could not wait. Apparently they couldn't either, because I was scrolling through Facebook one beautiful day in April, and I saw that they had gotten MARRIED! They just wanted to make it simple and intimate and become husband and wife as soon as possible. I was so happy for them! We switched their engagement photos to elopement photos and these are the results...
Let's just take a moment to appreciate how CUTE she looks with that hat!
Christian said that he wanted these elopement photos to be "kinda sexy" and everything from their stylish outfits to their passionate chemistry made that happen easily! As the sun went down, things heated up!
Right before wardrobe change the sun started to go down quickly. This completely changed the feel of the session from bright and breezy, to my favorite type of light- golden hour. The hour just before sunset. Honeymoon Island on is an amazing place to do elopement photos, and at sunset it is breathtaking!
Yudit put on this amazing flowy halter dress and a beautiful flower crown, and the look just fit so well with her easy going personality. She looked perfect for a beach elopement session. Christian got changed into linen pants with a gray shirt. What I loved about these two is that they had NO problem getting into the water! They were having a blast!
Congratulations to the happy couple! I am so happy to have had the honor to photograph your elopement at Honeymoon Island!
