The Hampton's Saint Pete Wedding
I met Stephanie at a tasting for Delectable's catering when she was looking for wedding vendors with her parents. Her St. Petersburg wedding was going to be January 19th 2019. We mat again for a consultation a few weeks later where I was able to meet her future husband, Tyler. He was so sweet and the way he looked at Stephanie was so endearing. I could not wait to be their wedding photographer! Before we knew it, the big day arrived and I found myself at the Vinoy Hotel in St. Petersburg. What a beautiful place! Tyler and his guys got ready at an amazing beach house they rented for the occasion! Anna, my amazing friend and second shooter- captured the images of the guys. Take a look at the beginning of the day....
Tyler & Stephanie's wedding ceremony took place at St. Mary Our Lady Of Grace church in downtown Saint Petersburg. The church is huge with gorgeous detailed pews and ornate woodwork. The flowers were done by a family friend, and looked amazing. Family and friends were beaming for the couple as they exchanged wedding vows and became husband and wife. After the wedding ceremony we took advantage of some extra time and got pictures in and around the gorgeous church!
As a wedding photographer in Tampa for a couple of years now I feel like I know a lot of the fun photography spots. However, I don't get to do wedding photos in St. Pete as often as I'd like. I was thrilled when Stephanie asked if we could do some fun images around town. The murals in St. Pete are amazing for wedding photos. The whole bridal party got involved and we made a few stops around the area. It was holiday in town (MLK Day) and a gorgeous weather day, so hundreds of people were swarming around the area. We even had to navigate a closed down road to make it to our next stop, Vinoy Park for more wedding portraits- on the beach!
After our wedding portraits at St. Pete's Vinoy Park, we headed to the BEAUTIFUL reception. The wedding reception took place at NOVA 535, just a short drive form where the wedding & portraits took place. A photographic challenge with it's dark ceilings, I was ready for the challenge. The night was full of dancing, drinking, food and FUN! This wedding reception had everything from a conga line to several dance battles! It was a real treat. The evening wrapped with the couple being wished well by a "sparkler send off" by their guests. Thanks for letting Happily Ever After Photography be a part of your day Mr. & Mrs. Hampton!
